KATE WARREN-SMITH
4-Year-Old Teacher: Seahorse Group
Educational Leader/Nominated Supervisor
I am the Seahorse teacher, and started at ANK in 2020 and enjoy being part of a strength based community and kinder. I have worked in the Early Childhood field for over 24 years, in varied roles including as an Educational adviser in an Early Intervention Team. My personal philosophy is based on child-centred practice where the child is always centre of importance and the child’s ideas construct the learning. This allows children the freedom to express, explore, create, discover and question ideas. I’m always open to challenge and willing to accept different perspectives.
